This is neat, over 27GWp of solar installed over 48 months in Germany – the equivalent of fifteen nuclear reactors in a quarter of the time (and no blank cheque clean-up liability). The graphics illustrate the robust coverage of distributed energy when multiple systems are deployed on roofs. They feed clean electricity direct in to buildings, where that energy is used instantly, or shared very locally with negligible transmission losses.
